Jay Stewart, CFP®, grew up near Charleston, West Virginia, and graduated from West Virginia University
with a B.S. in Economics. After graduation Jay moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, and began his
career in financial services, receiving the Certified Financial Planner designation in 1989.
As Vice president of Professional Financial Planning of the South East he worked with
individuals and businesses to achieve their financial goals.
Jay has three grown daughters and lives with his wife April and Golden Retriever Daisy in
Wilmington.
